Must-Have: - Active Speech Language Pathologist License in the
State of Arizona - Master's degree Description: Schedule: Working
100% onsite. Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM. The Speech
Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and
providing direct intervention with students to address speech,
voice, fluency, and language disorders. Collaboration with
teachers, parents, and other related service providers is an
important part of the student therapy. Duties include developing a
variety of speech and language treatment plans. Administration and
screening of speech and language assessments. Screening,
evaluating, and writing comprehensive reports on evaluated
students. Assisting in the development of the Individual Education
Program (IEP). Consulting and participating in the
multi-disciplinary Evaluation Team. Providing direct therapy and
instruction to students. Developing various therapy and
instructional strategies. Consulting with staff and parents
regarding the speech/language needs of the student. Participating
in continuing education courses and workshops. Participating in
Medicaid in Public Schools as directed. Position may be responsible
for some or all of the listed duties and/or additional duties that
occur from time to time.
