Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist
to join our team of professionals committed to improving patient
outcomes through personalized rehabilitative services. As an
Occupational Therapist at Encompass Health, you will work closely
with patients who are recovering from acute illnesses or injuries,
assisting them in regaining their independence and wellness. Your
expertise in therapy will be instrumental in designing and
implementing targeted treatment plans that cater to the specific
needs of each patient. Evaluate patients' conditions and develop
appropriate physical rehabilitation plans. Help patients improve
their ability to perform tasks in their daily living and working
environments. Use exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands-on
therapy, and equipment to ease patients' pain and help them
increase their mobility. Work with patients to prevent the loss of
mobility before it occurs by developing fitness- and
wellness-oriented programs for healthier and more active
lifestyles. Record patients’ progress and adjust treatments as
necessary. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in creating and implementing tailored treatment plans
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Expert knowledge of
therapeutic techniques and practices Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state Occupational Therapy
license NBCOT Certification
