Job Description The (SAVAHCS) Southern Arizona VA Health Care System in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced board-certified Ophthalmologist to join our team. HIGHLIGHTS Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Mentoring of residents from the University of Arizona Ophthalmology Residency JOB FUNCTIONS This is an excellent opportunity to perform the latest MIGS (Hydrus, iStent, Xen, Micropulse, KDB) as well as other incisional glaucoma surgery. Providing comprehensive clinical and surgical ophthalmological care to our veteran patients. Supervising ophthalmology residents in the clinics, procedure room, laser room and the operating room. Providing diagnostic and therapeutic services in inpatient and outpatient settings. Minimum Qualifications MD or DO Degree Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
