Pharmacist Location: Tucson, AZ Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $2,817 to $3,011 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Pharmacist/Staff Pharmacist City/State: Tucson, Arizona Shift: Variable: 6:00a - 4:30a or 10:00a - 8:30p Contract Length: 13 Weeks Start Date: 03/02/2026 Job Description: The Pharmacist is responsible for the safe, accurate and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents to patients of all ages, employees, and designated areas of the hospital. The Pharmacist practice shall be carried out in accordance with all state/federal and DEA laws, TJC Standards, and hospital/departmental policies and procedures. Responsibilities: Collaboration with Physicians on drugs and dosing Education of nursing staff, patients, and physicians regarding medications Medication Safety initiatives Maintain patient profiles Avoidance and reporting of adverse drug reactions Mixing of IV admixtures and nutritional supplements Narcotic accountability Requirements: ACLS & BLS certification AZ Pharmacist License Inpatient acute hospital experience required 2 years of experience, Board Certified and/or accredited pharmacy residency preferred but not required
