How you'll contribute A Behavioral Health Nurse Manager RN who excels in this role: Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization. Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements. Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies. Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. May provide patient care when necessary. Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth. Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols. What we're looking for Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school or an associate's degree with current enrollment in a bachelor's program for nursing. Additional requirements include: Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Experience: Three years of experience in all aspects of medical surgical nursing and Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred with a a minimum of two years supervisory experience. Licenses: Must have a current Arizona or compact multi-state RN license. Education: BSN or ADN with current enrollment in a BSN program required.
