Job Description:
As an Operations Manager at GXO Logistics, you will oversee and
manage daily operations within our logistics department, ensuring
that our supply chain processes run efficiently and effectively. In
this high-impact role, you will utilize advanced technology to
streamline operations, heighten the customer experience, and drive
cost reductions. Working collaboratively with cross-functional
teams, you will be instrumental in supporting our mission to
provide top-tier logistics solutions to diverse clients across
various industries. Oversee daily operations of the logistics
department, ensuring compliance with company policies and
regulatory standards. Implement effective logistics strategies and
manage logistical resources to improve efficiency and reduce
operational costs. Collaborate with other team leaders to ensure a
smooth supply chain operation and resolve any issues that arise.
Utilize advanced analytics tools to monitor performance metrics and
implement continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain safe and
healthy work environment by adhering to organization standards and
legal regulations. Prepare operational reports and propose
corrective actions to upper management. Proven experience in
logistics or supply chain management. Strong leadership and
decision-making skills. Competency in data analysis and performance
metrics using supply chain management software. Excellent
problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Medical
