more secure world.Job Description:We are currently hiring a Senior
Systems Engineer in Systems Engineering to join the Effectors
Systems Design & Architecture (SDA) organization located in Tucson,
AZ. This position is to support Effectors programs as an Interface
Responsible Systems Engineer (RSE).The Interface RSE will be
responsible for developing internal and external interface designs
(digital, electrical, and mechanical) and documenting them in
specifications. They will work across the program and with the
customer community to ensure all technical considerations are taken
into account with respect to the interface designs.Responsibilities
to Anticipate:
- Ownership of interface requirements for a given system or
subsystem
- Interaction with all other functional groups to derive
interface solutions
- Developing interface CONOPS
- System requirements analysis, definition, and management
- Ability to communicate to program leadership to provide status,
accomplishments, issues, and help needed
- Interface with the customer and sub-contractor community on a
regular basis to share status, issues, and address programmatic
concerns.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to all team
membersQualifications You Must Have:
- Interface design experience
- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology,
Engineering, or Mathematics and a minimum of five years of prior
experience in systems engineering architecture, design and
development activities OR an Advanced Degree and three year of
prior systems engineering experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required , as only U.S. citizens are
eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We Value:
- Experience giving technical briefs or presentations
- Experience evaluating and mitigating technical risks
- Experience in missile systems design
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with model-based systems engineering and associated
tools
- Knowledge of a Requirements Management tools such as DOORS
- Experience creating/maintaining a Master Interconnect Diagram

role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a
good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
