The Operations and Supply Chain organization has an opportunity for a talented professional to join our team in a critical Supplier Engineering role who will be involved in all aspects of Production Readiness assessmentsYou will be the point of contact and subject matter expert for production readiness for the program supply baseYou will provide technical knowledge & process capability expertise to ensure artifacts related to production readiness meet program requirements and product manufacturing performanceYou will be involved in pre-production phase life cycles, including new product development, advanced manufacturing initiatives and continuing through production implementationThe role requires familiarity with industry standard 5Ms, ability to work with dynamic and complex teams, identify and communicate gaps and be part of the solution space, work independently, ability to track progress and work to timelines, communicate with various leadership teams, prepare presentations to the program leadership teams and air-force special program officeResponsibilities to Anticipate:
Lead Production Readiness Reviews for the program supply base
Assess and collect all PRR artifacts
Ensure artifacts support transition to production plan
Understand and assess capacity and capability analysis artifacts with respect to program requirements and schedules
Develop tools and templates to ensure PRR artifacts support contractual requirements This is a hybrid position located in Tucson, AZBasic Qualifications:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experienceThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.Sgovernment issued security clearance is required Preferred Qualifications:
